WHY THE VOW BRIDAL BOUTIQUE?

The Vow helps all savvy brides save money or make money, as our wedding gowns are sold between 30-60% off their original retail price, and consignors earn 60% of their dress’ sale. Since the dresses are sold off the rack, brides do not have to wait 6-9 months for the gown to arrive and can visualize exactly how their dress will fit on their wedding day. Brides not only receive a bargain on a luxury designer gown but also enjoy the highest quality private shopping experience.  Additionally, The Vow is proud to extend the lifecycle of wedding gowns, making it a sustainable option for a green eco-friendly wedding.

About the owner, Jenan Adham

The Vow Bridal Boutique was founded in 2020 by a native Houstonian with a lifelong dream of owning her own bridal boutique. Jenan created The Vow because of her passion and commitment to helping brides find their dream wedding gown, while also saving them money and our beautiful planet.

Jenan earned her MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, and upon graduation worked in audit at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She later worked as an Account Coordinator at Total Petrochemicals, where she managed sales, shipments, and their complexities for hundreds of customers. After years of feeling “corporate America” was not for her, and finding herself daydreaming of owning her own bridal boutique, Jenan left her corporate job in pursuit of her dream. She started working at a high-end luxury bridal store in Highland Village, and within a few months, she was promoted to manager and renowned as the top sales associate, selling Oscar de la Renta, Monique Lhuillier, Marchesa, Romona Kavea, and Mira Zwillinger. She regularly attended New York Bridal Fashion Week, procuring an exquisite selection of bridal gowns for the Houston market.

After years of working in the bridal industry and with the encouragement from her family, friends, and former brides, Jenan pursued her dream of opening her own wedding gown boutique. However, she wanted it to be different. She wanted it to be a unique socially conscious concept with solutions to the problems she had encountered while selling couture gowns to brides and debutantes…. And, so, The Vow Bridal Boutique was born.
